Has a Prime Contractor or Procurement Officer ever asked if your organization is registered with the DDTC / ITAR?

An opportunity to learn facts about registration requirements and an update on the Export Controls Reform Initiative (ECR).

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requires manufacturers, exporters, or temporary importers of defense articles, and providers of defense services to register with the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). “Brokers” of transactions involving defense articles and defense services must register also.

Guidance on registering, what to do if not registered, and whether ECR might relieve a party of registration.
