    Nominations for the 2018 Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce Awards are now open!

    Nominations can be submitted electronically or by mail. Forms can be found HERE.


  • CLYDE W. CARTER CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

    The Chamber has been presenting the Clyde W Carter Citizen of the Year Award since 1969.

    A list of former recipients can be found here.

    Nominees for this award must meet the following guidelines:

    1. Have had a History of community activity for at least five years.    
    2. May not be an organization or group.  
    3. Have not been a previous recipient of this award.


    The SACC Board has the right to:

    1. Nominate.                 
    2. Pass if there are no acceptable candidates.

  • JOYCE LOBENE BUSINESS PERSON OR BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

    The Chamber has been presenting the Joyce Lobene Business Person/Business of the Year Award since 1993. 

    Originally the Business Person/Business of the Year Award, in 2015, this award was renamed in honor of Joyce Lobene, a local real estate agent and former Village of Spencerport Mayor.

    Nominees for this award must meet the following guidelines:

    1. Must own/operate a business in Ogden/Spencerport
    2. Have not been a previous recipient of this award.


    The SACC Board has the right to:

    1. Nominate.                 
    2. Pass if there are no acceptable candidates.

  • CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION AWARD

    The Chamber has been presenting the Civic Beautification Award since 1988. 

    A list of former recipients can be found here.

    Nominees for this award must meet the following guidelines:

    1. Recipient’s property must be in the physical confines of Ogden/Spencerport/South Parma.
    2. Property owner need not reside in Ogden/Spencerport/South Parma.
    3. Pertains to new or renovated property.   
    4. Project must be complete.    
    5. Non-profit organizations volunteering time and materials may be considered.
    6. Municipal governments may be considered.
    7. New construction could include owner and/or builder and tenant.
    8. Have not been a previous recipient of this award.     


    The SACC Board has the right to:

    1. Nominate.
    2. Pass if there are no acceptable candidates.

  • MEMBER OF THE YEAR

    This is the Chamber's newest award, which started in 2017.

    Previous awardees can be found here.

    Nominees for this award must meet the following guidelines:

    1. Must be current SACC member in good standing.    
    2. Personifies Chamber’s mission statement: Promoting business, community, growth and economic success. 
    3. Active participant in Chamber activities and events.   
    4. Have not been a previous recipient of this award.


    The SACC Board has the right to:

    1. Nominate.                 
    2. Pass if there are no acceptable candidates.
